Who is it for?
NPQH is designed for those who are, or are aspiring to become in the near future, a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school, including a head or head of school with cross-school responsibilities, for example a National Leader of Education. If you are not sure about your suitability for the programme, please contact us and we will assist you.
The programme requires 4 full days out of school, in addition to 9 days spent working in a placement school.
You can apply for this programme by completing this online form. Your application is made directly to NETSP with no gateway process.
The price for participants from maintained schools is £1850. NETSP is applying for Department for Education funding for all eligible participants.
NPQH assessment comprises two projects which are submitted as a portfolio. You will present the plan for each project to the school's governing body prior to implementation, and gather their feedback. You will then submit a written account of each project in a single portfolio to NETSP for assessment.
