NETSP
By serving school leaders, for school leaders
Our core purpose is to facilitate school improvement, through national, funded and bespoke professional development programmes.
National Professional Qualifications (NPQs)
We are currently delivering the full suite of NPQs with the NIoT, in partnership with North East Learning Trust and Tees Valley Teaching School Hub.
The NIoT is run by the School-Led Development Trust, which was established from a motivation to enable all schools, MATs and Teaching School Hubs to have the choice of a genuinely school-led NPQ provider.
We work with schools and academies across the region to provide bespoke delivery for the NPQ Programmes: if you would like to run a programme in your school using your own facilitators, contact us at netsp@newcastle.ac.uk
Applications for the next cohort of the NPQ programmes, commencing in February 2024, are now open! You can apply here.
Early Career Framework
NETSP is proud to be delivering the Early Career Framework in partnership with UCL, Tees Valley Teaching School Hub and Sacred Heart Catholic High School. This programme is designed to support Early Career Teachers through the first two years of their career, as well as providing additional support and professional development for their mentors. This programme is now a statutory entitlement for all Early Career Teachers and fully funded by the DfE.
For more information, please see the Early Career Framework (ECF) pages of our site.
